FEATURED CHEF
Richard Wayne Williams
Richard, the Executive Chef at Prime Cut Steak house, relocated from Baltimore Maryland where he was a Managing Chef at Towson University. His career path was turned upside down when Portallis a fine Italian restaurant, where he began his career, flooded along with the entire downtown of Ellicott City, Maryland. It was then that he began looking to move back south and met Tony Lopez. He trained under award winning chefs and former White House chefs at Stratford Culinary School in Baltimore where he graduated with honors.
Richard has loved cooking since he could reach the stove. If he wasn’t playing a sport or the piano, he was cooking. His specialties at home were smoked ribs, brisket and lemon meringue pie. Richard went from feeding his family to feeding the football team and youth groups. He is a Kansas City Barbeque Society Certified Judge. His home continues to be the place where friends from around the country gather for food and fun.
